The nomination comes with strong support from U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer and Congressman James T. Walsh. Daniel French comments on Suddaby’s nomination, as Suddaby succeeded Mr. French as U.S. Attorney.

Bruno’s Friend Given Stock Incentive, Document Says
New York State’s majority leader, Joseph L. Bruno is under investigation regarding a possible link between Mr. Bruno’s friend, Jared E. Abbruzzese, who allegedly received stock incentives’ and state aid which was received by Evident Technologies. Mr. Abbruzzese is a former co-chairman and director of Evident, and is its majority stockholder. Mr. French, who represents Evident Technologies, comments on Evident’s cooperation in the investigation.
